A couple of things.
First, is the water problem as bad as the news says in the state of Georgia and through out the southeast?
And, how do you get the BBQers in the northeast to grill year round.
I was going to have a Thanksgiving turkey grilling class this Saturday and I could not get anyone to sign up. Lots of talk but no one putting their $50 where their mouth is.
Any suggestions? And yes I know it is the last weekend of October. But it has been unseasonably warm up here although a little wetter.
Please, let me know what you would do.

We have plenty of water down here in Savannah nearer the coast. It’s only up near Atlanta where they have a shortage. Although, a friend of mine up there gets all his water from a well about 30 ft deep and he has plenty of water.
I do encourage my customers to BBQ year round and I know some of them do. I have heard stories from North Dakota and even Alaska in the middle of the winter. Of course, others will not do it – to each his own!
Smoking a turkey is not that hard – I can see why you would have a hard time getting people to pay $50 just for a class. I always thought that selling smoked turkeys around Thanksgiving would be a great business. I know it is as there are companies out there that do that exclusively and most of their business is around Thanksgiving. Maybe a $50 class, but they get to keep their smoked turkey.
