Take bark off mesquite before using?
Should you take bark off mesquite as well? I know you said take it off the larger trees but with mesquite not being very big, that would get a little old. Just asking. Thanks.

Dark BBQ Sauce
Hi Bill
I purchase an ebook for barbeque. I love it and I am very happy.
I am having some problems with the barbeque sauce. I am trying to develop it and I not sure what to do. Because I am from the north some of our taste buds could be a little different. I know you said that there is many combinations of a sauce but the biggest problem I have is how can I get my sauce to be dark like most sauces. What in the process or content do I need to add.
The rib rub (Kansas city) and the process is outstanding !!!! I just need to tweek it because I use a grill. The money is in the sauce. This is taking some time. Any help would be wonderful.
