Wild cherry smoking wood
Bill,
I have a wild cherry tree in my backyard; can you use it for smoking?
It’s not a fruit producing tree of any sort.
Thanks!
Harry

Harry:
Yes… you can use that for smoking. Many people sell wild cherry wood for smoking. More information on barbecue woods at http://www.go2barbecue.com/

Hi Bill,
I rarely hear anyone mention wood from a plum tree. Do you know if this wood is OK for smoking brisket?
Just bought your book. Love it! Very imformative.
Thanks…….EDWARD LARA
Plum wood should be OK – use it like any other fruitwood.
