First of all, I’d like to wish all the Fathers out there a Happy Father’s Day this Sunday. If you want a really good BBQ Sauce recipe, check out this month’s newsletter. By the way, we were 8th overall and 4th in brisket at the Tryon, NC BBQ contest last weekend.

  2. Hi Bill,

    A good friend of mine and I are in our first neighborhood rib competition this weekend in Sacramento, CA. 10 teams, St. Louis cut, mainly for bragging rights but they close off the street and have things for the kids etc. We do have 3 judges who are members of the WSBA who do the judging as a favor so the pressure is on. I’m a little worried about my rub, other than that we’re good on sauce and time/temp using our 22″ weber smokey mountain grill. I’ll report back and Happy Fathers Day.
